Hotel pickup
The tour includes pick-up and drop off from/to the majority of the hotels in Marrakech (outside of the Medina area). Upon reservation, we will advise you about the pick up time from your hotel or the closest pickup point.
Note: If your accommodation is located inside the medina, the meeting point will be the Cafe de France Restaurant in Jamaa el Fna square.

How to make a reservation?

Guaranteed departure with a minimum of 2 participants
Our excursion will start early from Marrakech towards the spectacular reddish mountains with flat tops of the Moroccan Atlas. The landscape will change rapidly as you cross the Tizi N'Tichka (2,260m). You will continue towards Ighrem, Agouime and Amerzgan, Berber villages of the Atlas, until the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. We will visit the Kasbah (fortified citadel) and you will enjoy lunch in a typical restaurant with beautiful panoramic views.
We will continue to Ouarzazate, the city of cinema, passing through the Anti Atlas massif, through Tizi N'Tniffift, Agdez, and Draa with its innumerable palm groves (an estimated 11 million palm trees). You will arrive at the place where you spend the night, and have a one-hour camel ride, which will be the perfect moment to admire the spectacular sunset of the Zagora desert. You will spend the night in an authentic Berber tent.
Tip Greca: Check out the list of movies that were filmed at Ait Ben Haddou, which includes Gladiator and Game of Thrones, among many others.
We will get up at dawn to see the sunrise over the dunes. You can return by camel to Zagora and from there you will travel by car to Ouarzazate. We´ll visit Kasbah Taourirt, which in other times used to be the residence of the pasha (title similar to governor or king) of Marrakech, built in adobe with battlemented towers. Here we will visit the former quarters of Pacha el Glaoui, who received his title for his service in the civil war. Then, we will enjoy an exquisite meal in a traditional Moroccan restaurant. After the visit, you will begin the return to the city of Marrakech.
