How do modifications, cancellations and refunds work?

Any amendment of the content or arrival dates of the purchased services with up to 21 days before the beginning of your services will not incur in any cancellation fees, except if the new provided dates contain a rate difference. If the new arrival date is cheaper than the original one Greca Travel will refund the difference.

If your selected product contains an air or train ticket, the publicly known charges originated from such amendment, will indeed be charged to the traveller. Updated vouchers in case of modification, or refunds, in case of cancellation, will be sent only once a week, on Wednesdays.

No changes or modifications are allowed 21 days or less from the start date of the program.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email and shall be effective the next 24 hours.

In case of cancellations within less than 31 days prior to your arrival, cancellation expenses shall be collected in advance in accordance with the following table.

30-15 days before your arrival: 35% of the total price
14-08 days before your arrival: 50% of the total price
7-0 days before your arrival or in case of passenger's no-show: 100% of the total price.

Products with a cancellation policy, of less (1), equal to or greater (2) than 31 days unify expenses with the period mentioned in the segment 30-15 before your arrival, unless specified otherwise (3).

It is the ideal way to travel and share expenses if you are 3 friends or family, they will enjoy every moment of the trip together. Generally, triple rooms consist of an extra bed, a sofa bed, or similar, depending on the accommodation property. The discount granted to the third occupant is distributed among all three travelers and so you will all benefit from the lower price.

Which is the best month or season to travel?

The best season to visit Greece, Italy and Turkey is between April and October when summer turns it into a true paradise. What happens in case of rain or inclement weather?

No need to worry, it rains a few days a year in the Mediterranean.

If it rains, the activities will still take place as normal. If there are extreme conditions (such as heavy snow or very high temperatures) and the tour has to be canceled, we will offer you an alternative date or refund the payment.

What is the franchise in the insurance policy of a rental car

Franchise is the part of the damage in a claim that the insured party has to pay. It can be a fixed amount or a percentage of the total insured amount. Therefore, the amount and payment of the insurance company coverage only begins when the claim exceeds the amount of said franchise.

For example: if the insurance franchise is Eur 750 and the damage from the accident to be covered is Eur 1000, the insurance company will have to pay for the difference between the franchise payment (paid by the insured party) and the total amount of the claim, that is to say, Eur 250 in this case.

It is important to always add these feeds or taxes when calculating the total of your trip, representing a compulsory additional expense to consider. Hotel or overnight fees or taxes are not carried by Greca and depend generally on the hotel category, city, and the total number of nights. These are listed on our webpage, under question 12.
