Hotel pickup
The tour departs at 10:00 hours from the town of Laganas and includes the pick-up and drop-off from/to the hotels in the South and East parts of the island. Upon reservation, we will advise you about the pick-up time from your hotel or the closest pickup point.

An unforgettable tour through the heart of the island of Zakynthos! Sit back and relax in one of our luxury air-conditioned coaches with the company of the local guide, who will be with you throughout the day and impart all the interesting facts about the island.
After the pick-up from your hotel or the nearest collection point, you will start this tour at 10:00 AM. from the west side of the island, enjoying the walk through the villages of Tsilivi, Planos, and Katastari.
In Alykes, our first stop, you will admire a view of the northwest part of the island. You will also see its salt marshes, which supply the entire island and where the town derives its name from. Your next stop will be at the largest local winery, where the wine experts will show you around and explain the art of winemaking, but where also you will taste the local wines and delicacies.
After a 15-minute drive, you will arrive at the famous Blue Caves at Porto Vromi and take a tour in small boats, allowing you to admire their dazzling brightness and splendid colors.
You will probably think that you are in paradise! The culmination of your trip will be at the world-famous Navagio beach. Who does not recognize the most famous beach in Greece? You will admire the incredible view of the beach from the top of the cliff. Do not miss the opportunity to take some photos!
You will continue your journey, while the guide comments on each area you pass by, and will arrive at Anafonitria, a Byzantine monument with interesting architecture, which was founded during the Venetian occupation of the island and which took its name from the icon brought to the monastery from Constantinople, where Saint Dionisios, the protector of Zakynthos, spent the last years of his life in this monastery.
Now, it is time to have lunch in a tavern with traditional delicacies and local wine.
After lunch, and having recharged your camera, you will visit one of the oldest villages on the island, Volimes.
You can buy oil and honey, handmade embroidery, tablecloths, and lace here. The subsequent stops will be at other traditional villages, such as Exo Hora, Kiliomenos, and Agios Leon.
Your last stop will be in the rustic town of Macherado. You will visit the church of Saint Mavra and hear the interesting history of the church.
