IMPORTANT NOTES:
Dress code: Appropriate clothing for everyone is required to enter the monasteries. Sleeveless clothing and shorts over the knee for men are prohibited and you‘ll be denied access if dressed that way. For ladies skirts and shawls are available to borrow or buy at the entrance of monasteries in case they don’t have such clothing to cover themselves.
Level of difficulty: Please be aware that reaching the top of the monasteries involves climbing steps. There are no elevators available, so please consider this if you have any mobility concerns.
Hotel pickup
The tour does not include pick-up and drop-off from/to your hotel in Athens, it is a service you can add optionally.
The departure is from Athens Central Train Station (Larissa Station) at 08:00 hrs. We advise arriving 30 minutes prior to departure, as the bus will leave immediately.

Cancellations
Full Refund for the guided tour for cancellations at least 48 hours in advance.
For cancellations or modifications later than 48 hours prior to departure, 100% of the total cost will be applied as cancellation fees.
Verification - Voucher
Once the reservation is made you will receive an email with your reservation number and the pickup information, as well as the application download instructions. Vouchers are not essential for this tour.

Your adventure begins at Stathmos Larissis, the central train station in Athens, where you will board the bus for your journey to Kalambaka. Departing promptly at 8:00 AM, you'll enjoy a scenic drive through the picturesque Greek countryside, arriving in Kalambaka around 12:45 PM.
Upon arrival, you will have a 45-minute lunch break to relax and explore the local area. Following this, you will embark on a comprehensive 5-hour tour of Meteora. Accompanied by an expert local guide, you will be transported in a VIP minibus to some of the most spectacular viewpoints of Meteora’s majestic rock formations. The tour provides an in-depth experience of this UNESCO World Heritage site, allowing you to fully appreciate the natural beauty and historical significance of the area.
After your tour, you will return to Kalambaka train station to catch the 6:00 PM bus back to Athens. You are expected to arrive at Stathmos Larissis by 10:30 PM, concluding your memorable day trip.
Greca Tip: Take a moment to explore Kalambaka’s charming old district and enjoy local specialties, including handmade wood-carved items and delicious homemade pies.
