Our first stop is a local winery, where we discover some of Tuscany’s longstanding winemaking traditions. During the visit, we taste three different wines and learn about the characteristics and production methods that distinguish each one. The experience also includes a tasting of locally produced extra virgin olive oil, made from traditional olive varieties, accompanied by typical Tuscan bread. Surrounded by the peaceful countryside, this is an opportunity to appreciate the connection between the land and the products that have become an essential part of Tuscan cuisine.

We continue toward the scenic Val d’Orcia and arrive in Pienza, a charming town known for its Renaissance architecture and beautiful setting. Take some time to explore its picturesque streets and evocative lanes at your own pace, while enjoying the panoramic views stretching across the surrounding hills. The town’s harmonious architecture and landscapes offer a wonderful glimpse into the cultural and rural heritage of southern Tuscany.

Our journey continues to Montepulciano, where elegant Renaissance buildings, historic churches and scenic viewpoints create a distinctive atmosphere. Enjoy some free time to explore the town and discover its historic center before continuing to a second local winery.

Here, we taste locally produced wines, including the renowned Nobile di Montepulciano, accompanied by traditional Tuscan snacks. After this final tasting, sit back and enjoy the scenic journey through the Tuscan countryside as we return to Siena, bringing our day of wine, culture and landscapes to an end.
