We start the day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before heading out to explore the wonders of Athens.

On our panoramic tour, we will visit the Presidential Palace, the historic Panathenaic Stadium, which hosted the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, the majestic National Library, and the vibrant central squares. We will also pass through the modern neighborhoods that emerged with the 2004 Olympics.

Our tour will end at the Acropolis site (entrance not included), where you can admire one of the most iconic wonders of Greek civilization.

In the evening, we will take you to the charming Plaka district, a lively area with cobblestone streets and traditional taverns where you can enjoy authentic Greek cuisine and local folklore.

We then continue our journey with a brief stop at the gorge where the legendary Battle of Thermopylae took place, a key moment in Greek history. Next, we head to Kastraki, a picturesque village with stunning views of the valley, where we will have time to enjoy lunch and relax.

In the afternoon, we will visit the majestic Meteora Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its towering rock formations and monasteries built atop the cliffs. We will explore the valley and visit one of its most iconic monasteries, with entrance included.

We will end the day in Kalambaka, where a delicious dinner awaits us to recharge our energy.

After enjoying our breakfast, we begin a scenic journey through northern Greece, crossing mountainous landscapes that gradually open toward the blue waters of the Aegean Sea, accompanying us on a route rich in history and cultural contrasts.

In the morning we arrive in Thessaloniki, the country’s second most important city, where you will have free time to stroll through its lively center, discover Roman and Byzantine remains, and enjoy lunch at your own pace by the sea.

In the afternoon we continue our journey toward Bulgaria, crossing the border into the Bulgarian region of Macedonia. Along the way, we stop in Melnik, a picturesque open-air museum town surrounded by rocky formations and vineyards, renowned for its winemaking tradition and timeless atmosphere.

Upon arrival in Sandanski, a renowned spa town and the birthplace of Spartacus, we experience the peaceful charm of this destination, famous for its healing waters. At the end of the day, we return to the hotel to rest, where we enjoy the included dinner and accommodation.

Greca Tip: Melnik is the smallest town in Bulgaria, yet its wines are legendary—so much so that they were once favorites of Tsar Peter the Great. Well worth tasting.

After our visit, we continue our journey to Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, arriving by mid-morning. You will have free time to enjoy lunch and explore the local cuisine before embarking on a panoramic tour of the city. During our tour, we will visit the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral (admission included), the Russian Church, the Banya Bashi Mosque, as well as Sofia’s impressive squares and wide avenues showcasing Stalinist architecture.

After the tour, you will have free time to continue exploring the city at your own pace.

We start the day with a delicious breakfast before departing for the Bachkovo Monastery, the second most important monastery in Bulgaria. Founded in the 11th century, this monastery stands out for its three impressive churches and the monastic life that is still preserved inside. Its serene and spiritual atmosphere makes it a truly peaceful place.

After the visit, we continue our journey to Plovdiv, one of the oldest cities in Europe. Before exploring, we will enjoy a included lunch, giving us the opportunity to taste Bulgarian cuisine.

In the afternoon, we will take a guided tour of Plovdiv, where we will uncover its fascinating history and architecture. We include entry to three of its most emblematic landmarks: the Roman Amphitheater, the Old Pharmacy, and the Armenian House, each with unique historical and cultural significance.

After enjoying a breakfast that will give us the energy for the day, we embark on a fascinating journey through the Balkan mountain range's scenic landscapes.

Our first stop is in the Valley of the Roses, where we visit Kazanlak. Here, we include admission to the replica of the Thracian Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will also learn about the production of rose-based products, a centuries-old tradition in the region.

We continue our journey with a short stop at the Russian Church of Shipka, a majestic Orthodox temple built to honor those who fell in the Russo-Turkish War.

Later, we arrive in Etara, a charming open-air ethnographic museum that transports us to 19th-century Bulgaria. We will enjoy an included lunch in this unique setting before continuing our journey.

In the afternoon, we visit Arbanassi, a former Bulgarian trading center known for its fortress-like houses. Here, we include entrance to the Church of the Nativity, famous for its impressive frescoes.

Finally, we arrive in Veliko Tarnovo, the former capital of Bulgaria. Its medieval center, perched along a gorge, offers a stunning view of the city's history and beauty.

After enjoying our breakfast, we depart from Veliko Tarnovo toward Romania, traveling through wintry landscapes that frame a day filled with spirituality and history. Our route takes us to the Dimitar Basarbovski Monastery, a unique pilgrimage site carved into the rock, where the silence of the surroundings and local devotion invite a moment of contemplation.

We then continue toward the border, crossing the mighty Danube River—one of Eastern Europe’s great historical arteries—before entering Romanian territory. Around midday, at approximately 1:00 pm, we arrive in Bucharest, where you will have free time to enjoy lunch and begin to feel the rhythm of this captivating capital.

In the afternoon, we set out on a panoramic city tour of Bucharest, discovering its charming Old Town, lively cultural scene, and striking architectural contrasts. The tour includes views of the monumental Palace of the Parliament, one of the largest administrative buildings in the world and a powerful symbol of the country’s recent past.

At the end of the day, we return to the hotel to rest, where we enjoy the included dinner and overnight accommodation.

After enjoying breakfast, we prepare for a day full of breathtaking landscapes as we head towards Transylvania, crossing the majestic Carpathians, surrounded by dense forests and towering mountains.

Our first stop will be in Sinaia, where we will stroll through the beautiful gardens of Peleș and Pelișor Castles, former royal residences that reflect the elegance and splendor of the Romanian monarchy.

We will then continue our journey to the Bran Fortress, an imposing 14th-century structure worldwide known as "Dracula's Castle" (entrance included). Here, we will have free time to enjoy lunch and explore the surroundings, filled with history and legends.

In the afternoon, we will head to Sighișoara, a walled medieval gem declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its cobbled streets and well-preserved architecture will transport us back in time.

To end the day with an unforgettable experience, we have arranged a special dinner at Count Dracula's restaurant, located in the house where Vlad Țepeș was born, the historical figure who inspired the legend of Dracula.

Greca Tip: A night stroll through the illuminated streets of Sighișoara is a magical experience, as it is one of the few medieval cities still inhabited in Europe.

After enjoying breakfast, we prepare for a day full of history and beauty as we explore Transylvania. Our first destination will be Biertan, famous for its fortified churches, some of which have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will visit one of them (entrance included).

We continue our journey to Sibiu, a city of great cultural and economic importance. It was the capital of Transylvania and is known for its lively streets, squares, and picturesque alleyways. You will have free time to stroll around and enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon, we head to Hunedoara, where we will visit the impressive Hunedoara Castle (entrance included), considered one of the most beautiful in Romania. We finish the day by arriving in Timișoara, where you can take a walk around its elegant central squares.

Greca Tip: Sibiu, with its medieval architecture, is a perfect place for photography—don’t forget your camera!

After enjoying our breakfast, we depart from Timisoara toward Serbia, crossing the border and entering a new chapter of our journey. After a drive of just under three hours, we arrive in Belgrade, a vibrant capital city strategically located at the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers.

In the afternoon, we enjoy a panoramic city tour that introduces us to Belgrade’s lively city center, its Parliament building, and wide avenues that reflect the many layers of its history. We then walk through the iconic Kalemegdan Fortress, one of the city’s most symbolic landmarks, offering impressive views over the meeting point of the two rivers—an area that has played a key role in Balkan history.

We also include a visit to the Museum of Yugoslavia, home to Tito’s Mausoleum, providing insight into the political and social legacy of the region during the 20th century.

After the visit, you will have free time to continue exploring the city at your own pace, enjoy a coffee, or simply observe the daily rhythm of this dynamic capital. At the end of the day, we return to the hotel to rest.

After enjoying our breakfast, we begin a beautiful stage of the journey heading north through Serbia, entering the region of Vojvodina, where Roman history blends harmoniously with riverside landscapes.

Our first stop is Sremska Mitrovica, a town with a pleasant historic center on the banks of the Sava River. In Roman times, it was one of the most important cities of the Empire and the capital of the province of Pannonia. We include a visit to the Imperial Palace of Sirmium, whose archaeological remains illustrate the political and strategic importance of this city in antiquity.

We then continue our journey toward Bosnia, making a stop along the way for lunch. As we proceed, we cross the Republic of Srpska, the Serbian entity of Bosnia, enjoying rolling hills, peaceful villages, and scenic landscapes.

By late afternoon, we arrive in Sarajevo, a city with a rich multicultural soul where East and West meet. We will have time to explore the historic old town and stroll through the charming Ottoman bazaar, a former market renowned for its oriental atmosphere, traditional shops, and distinctive architecture.

At the end of the day, we return to the hotel to rest, where we enjoy the included dinner and overnight accommodation.

After a delicious breakfast, we begin our day with a guided tour of Sarajevo, a fascinating city known as the "Jerusalem of Europe" for its harmonious coexistence of several religions. In its old town, we will explore mosques, churches, and synagogues, reflecting its religious diversity. We will also observe the deep Ottoman influence in the city, highlighting its grand mosque, over 500 years old, and its picturesque fountain.

After the visit, we continue our journey to Mostar, where we will admire its beautiful historic center and the famous stone bridge that separates the Orthodox, Muslim, and Catholic communities. There will be free time for lunch and to explore the city at our own pace.

Next, we continue to Croatia, with border procedures that may take some time. We will arrive in Dubrovnik by the end of the day, where we will enjoy a delicious dinner included.

After enjoying our breakfast, we spend the morning discovering Dubrovnik with a local guide, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and a true jewel of world architectural heritage. Perched on a rocky promontory, surrounded by imposing walls and bathed by the waters of the Adriatic Sea, its historic center has remained virtually intact, offering an unforgettable image.

During the panoramic tour, we stroll through its history-filled streets and stop at a scenic viewpoint along the road, from where we enjoy outstanding views of the walled city and the deep blue Adriatic. The visit includes entrance to the Franciscan Monastery, home to the oldest pharmacy in Europe still in operation, and the Dubrovnik Cathedral, a reflection of the city’s artistic and religious splendor.

We then enjoy a boat excursion to Lokrum Island, located just 15 minutes away by boat. This small natural oasis preserves the ruins of an 11th-century Benedictine monastery and is also known as a filming location for the series Game of Thrones.

The afternoon is free to continue exploring Dubrovnik at your own pace or simply relax by the sea. At the end of the day, we return to the hotel to rest, where we enjoy the included dinner and overnight accommodation.

Keep in mind: On some departures, accommodation may be in Cavtat, a picturesque coastal town near the city. During the winter months, from November to March, boat service to Lokrum is unavailable, so the island will not be visited.

Greca Tip: Don’t forget that Dubrovnik, besides its impressive beauty, is known as "The Pearl of the Adriatic." This city has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site and is famous for its historic medieval wall, which has been preserved throughout the centuries.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we begin our day by following the stunning Croatian coastline. Along the way, we will be treated to spectacular landscapes with islands scattered across the sea. We will make a stop in Ston, a picturesque town famous for its wall, which is one of the longest in the world. From there, we continue along the road, enjoying breathtaking views, where the majestic Pelješac Bridge stands out as it crosses the sea.

Arriving in Split around noon, we head for a guided tour with a local expert. The tour includes entrance to the Diocletian’s Palace, an impressive Roman palace. During the visit, we will explore the labyrinth of streets in the city center and enjoy beautiful views of the sea. At the end of the day, we will return to our hotel for a delicious dinner.

After enjoying our breakfast, we travel inland through Croatia, crossing gentle hills and forested landscapes that lead us to one of the country’s most breathtaking natural wonders. We arrive at the Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where turquoise lakes and cascading waterfalls create a scene of remarkable harmony.

During the visit, you will have time to walk along its wooden pathways, admire the waterfalls from various viewpoints, and enjoy a ride on the lake boats or the panoramic train, both included with the entrance ticket, offering different perspectives of the park.

After lunch, we continue our journey back toward the coast, heading to northern Croatia. By late afternoon we arrive in Opatija, an elegant seaside resort known for its lively atmosphere, seaside promenade, and long-standing holiday tradition. At the end of the day, we return to the hotel to rest, where we enjoy the included dinner and overnight accommodation.

Keep in mind that, occasionally, due to winter weather conditions or overcrowding during summer periods, it may not be possible to use the boats or the train at the Plitvice park.

After a delicious breakfast, we begin our journey into Slovenia. Our first stop is in Postojna, home to one of the most important caves in the world, which we will explore partially by train. Afterward, we head to Bled, a picturesque town by a lake. We include a boat ride on Lake Bled, taking you to the island where the bell tower of the monastery stands at the foot of a medieval castle. We continue our journey to the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana. Upon arrival, we will have a guided tour of this charming, small Central European capital. Dinner included.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast in Ljubljana, you will have the morning free to explore the charming center of this small capital at your own pace. You can wander through its streets and enjoy its peaceful and picturesque atmosphere.

In the afternoon, we head towards the Adriatic coast, crossing into Italy. We will arrive in Venice at the end of the day, where you will be staying in the Mestre area, known for its comfort and proximity to the famous city.

Tip Greca: Don’t miss the Ljubljana Castle, which offers panoramic views of the city and is easily accessible by funicular or a short hike.

After enjoying our breakfast, in the morning we take a boat transfer to the St. Mark’s area, the gateway to unmistakable Venice, a one-of-a-kind city built on more than one hundred islands and connected by over four hundred bridges crossing its iconic canals.

We then enjoy a walking tour with a local guide, exploring this emblematic part of the city. Along the way, we discover historic squares, elegant palaces, and charming corners that recall centuries of commercial and artistic splendor, all set to the gentle rhythm of Venetian life.

After the visit, you will have free time to continue exploring Venice at your own pace, wander through its narrow streets, or enjoy a coffee by a canal. In the afternoon, you may choose to take an optional gondola ride, the most traditional and romantic way to experience the city.
