This city is located at the foot of Mount Parnassus, near the place where the famous Greek sanctuary was located, which is currently one of the most important archaeological sites. Delphi, was considered a sacred place from very remote times and its sanctuary was a place of worship to various divinities over history. You can also visit The Temple of Apollo. Visible today (there were six others built successively on the site). This temple dates back to the 4th century BC. Above the temple lies the theater, very well preserved up to the present, where 5,000 spectators could sit. The works, which began in the third century BC, were not completed until 160 BC, and later it was restored by the Romans.
