Your excursion starts from one of the closest meeting points to your own hotel. It has a duration of 8 hours and you will travel in a minivan to the western part of Sicily to reach Erice.
After the visit, you will have a panoramic tour through the sea salt flats of Trapani, where the ancient tradition of extracting salt by evaporation of seawater is still practiced.
You will continue to Segesta, one of the main cities of the ancient Elimos indigenous peoples, to visit the unfinished Doric temple built at the end of the 5th century BC. C., on a hill on the outskirts of the old city and with a commanding view of the surrounding countryside.
At the end of this wonderful day, you will return to Palermo.
