We begin our tour strolling through the narrow and charming streets of Chora, the capital of Mykonos, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the early morning and the opportunity to capture beautiful photographs before the city becomes busier. We will explore the labyrinthine old town, walking past the small harbor and the traditional whitewashed churches that define the island’s character.
During the visit, we will see the famous windmills and, with a bit of luck, spot Petros the Pelican, the iconic mascot of Mykonos. Afterwards, we continue discovering the island aboard a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle, visiting some of its most renowned beaches and inland landscapes. Along the route, we will admire authentic Cycladic scenery, including fishing boats, small private chapels, and houses built in the traditional island style.
Our next stop will be Ano Mera, the second most important village on the island, located approximately 6 km from Mykonos Town. Here, we will have free time to stroll around the traditional square and visit the Monastery of Panagia Tourliani, originally built in the 16th century.
Later, we arrive at Kalafatis Beach, where there will be time to relax and enjoy a coffee or refreshment by the sea (not included). Before returning, we will also visit the beaches of Ornos and Agios Ioannis. The experience concludes at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking Mykonos Town and the neighboring islands, offering a memorable ending to this journey through the Cyclades.
Greca Tip: Ask your private guide for local gastronomic recommendations and discover authentic tavernas away from the busiest tourist areas.
