After enjoying our breakfast, we will depart along a small and scenic road through the canton of Bern, passing gentle hills, forests, and green fields. En route, we will make a photo stop, either at Schwarzenburg Castle or—depending on our accommodation—at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking Lake Thun or Lake Brienz, perfect for capturing the essence of the Swiss landscape.
We will then continue to Interlaken, a charming resort town nestled between two crystal-clear lakes, where the alpine atmosphere is truly enchanting. Afterwards, we will head to the Aare Gorge, where we will explore its impressive ravines along suspended walkways (entrance included), surrounded by turquoise waters and dramatic rock formations. Here, we will also enjoy our lunch included.
In the afternoon, we will journey toward one of Switzerland’s most spectacular mountain passes: the Susten Pass, where eternal snow and glaciers dominate the scenery. We will stop along the way to admire this majestic glacier landscape and take memorable photos.
Surrounded by dramatic peaks, we will continue toward the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland, passing through the famous Gotthard Tunnel and stopping in Gandria, a picturesque lakeside village on Lake Lugano, known for its narrow, steep streets and traditional architecture. From there, we will board a boat (ticket included) to cross the lake to Lugano, the main city of Italian-speaking Switzerland, famous for its mild climate and beautiful lakeside promenade.
Finally, we will head to Chiasso, arriving in the late afternoon. At the end of the day, we will return to the hotel to rest.
Note: From late May to early October, the Susten Pass may be closed due to snow; in this case, we will travel through the equally stunning Brünig Pass. Occasionally, accommodation may be in the Como metropolitan area.
Greca Tip: In Gandria, take a short stroll along the lake before boarding the boat; the reflections of colorful houses on the water create a truly unforgettable postcard moment.
