AMMAN HIGHLIGHTS IN PRIVATE

You will enjoy a panoramic city tour of Amman, a city enriched with the glamor of the past and present, known in the past as Amon. During the 2-hour tour you will visit the old and modern Amman in a private vehicle through its streets, the city center and the lively old markets, churches and mosques.

You will start your drive through Jabal Al-Hussein for a breathtaking view of old Amman from the Citadel. You will see the Roman amphitheatre, carved into a hillside in the 2nd century BC. and the most important remnant of Amman's predecessor, the white Roman city of Philadelphia. You will walk through the "Raghadan Palace", the place where the late King Hussein is buried.

You will then head to the city center and take some free time to walk around and explore the ancient gold and spice markets. The tour will continue to the various mosques in the city, such as the King Abdullah Mosque and churches such as the Coptic Orthodox Church.

You will continue walking through the historical area of ​​Jabal Al-Webdeih, famous for its different art galleries. Then along Rainbow Street at Jabal Amman Quarter, the cradle of many of Amman's landmarks: like the headquarters of the Jordan River Foundation and the residence of King Talal.

After visiting Rainbow Street, Amman's colorful art and shopping venue, you will continue to the modern part of the city: the upscale neighborhoods of "Abdoun" and "Swefieh", where luxury shopping malls and luxurious private villas line the streets.

Optionally, you can request a stop at one of the malls on your tour such as Galleria or Taj Mall or at Abdali Boulevard, a new and elegant enclave of designer stores considered as the up and coming center of Amman.
