VISIT TO THE DOGE´S PALACE

At the appointed time, we will meet our guide at 1256 Calle Larga Ascensione to discover the Doge's Palace of Venice, seat of power during the centuries of the ancient Republic of Venice.

The palace has represented for centuries the seat of Venetian political power. Today it remains one of the attractions that attracts the most visitors and one of the symbols of the city.

In its splendid rooms, plastered and adorned with literally hundreds of masterpieces of painting, the Duke and his Council controlled the destiny of a thousand-year-old republic. We will see, together with our expert local guide, the corridors of power, which plunge into the past of the European Middle Ages and the following centuries.

We will be able to breathe and see the historical account of a city that has made history. We will be amazed by the rich details of the Golden Staircase, the realism of the scenes depicted by many artists who have decorated this building.

In addition, we will also be able to "live" the anguish of the prisoners crossing the famous Bridge of Sighs. We will also visit the Venetian prisons, famous for housing, among others, Giacomo Casanova.
