    Excursion Itinerary: Plitvice lakes from zagreb

    Early in the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel to begin an exciting day trip outside of Zagreb.

    After about 2 hours by car, you will arrive at the largest and oldest National Park in Croatia. You will begin the tour by discovering the park and its biodiversity: trees of many types, such as pines, and beeches, and the carpet of green ferns that covers this place.

    The trails through the park can be up to 300 steps in some places. Spanning wooden bridges tower over the park, offering incredible photo-opting views of the park and its turquoise lakes, streams, and waterfalls.

    You will take an ecological bus trip as well as a boat ride on the lake. You will then have lunch at a restaurant, followed by free time to enjoy the park at your leisure.

    After your free time, you will be taken back to your hotel in Zagreb.
