    Excursion Itinerary: Hidden gems of santorini in private

    We will begin our "off the beaten path" adventure by visiting the Tomato Industrial Museum, where we can discover the history of Santorini's famous cherry tomato. We will watch an informative video on tomato production and take a guided tour of the old factory's machinery before savoring the delicious tomato paste.

    Next, we will make our way to the secluded Vichada beach, known for its unique volcanic sand and stunning pumice stone cliffs, and take some amazing photos of the breathtaking scenery.

    Our next stop will be the medieval castle of Emporio, which was built by the Venetians in the mid-15th century to protect themselves from pirate invasions. We will have a chance to wander through the well-preserved fortified settlement, marveling at its fascinating architecture, charming atmosphere, and vibrant colors.

    We will continue our journey by following a small road toward the hilltop above the village of Emporio. Here, we can admire the eight traditional windmills and a solitary whitewashed chapel perched on the edge of the cliff. This picturesque location offers stunning panoramic views and is an ideal spot for a beautiful sunset.

    Finally, we will savor the flavors of the island by visiting one of the island´s best-known Vineyards, a cave winery that was abandoned after an earthquake in 1956. We will taste a complimentary selection of four wine varieties paired with delicious snacks before concluding your tour.
